Meet Ashley - IT solutions graduate

Why did you choose the KN Graduate Programme?

I previously worked with Kuehne+Nagel as an apprentice, and so after university I knew to look at their graduate programmes. I applied for the graduate programme because they were a good employer and as they were a familiar company I thought it would be worth applying and seeing what opportunities they had.

What was your Graduate Journey (placements, locations etc)?

My Base location was in Milton Keynes; however i was placed in a project that was based in Bicester and then Telford for 16 months, and therefore stayed in hotels for the majority of the time. After that i was then based back in Milton Keynes for a local project in Wellingborough.

Where are you now?

The Role i secured was an Implementation Analyst within the IT Solutions team, and my remit is to support the projects/implemantation of systems within contract logistics. .

What did you enjoy most about the Graduate Programme?

I enjoyed the exposure to the wider business the most, you get to go to various sites across the UK, and potentially even intrenationally and it gives you such a good understanding of the different business units and really helps to improve your network and break down silos
