Her super power? Resilience.

When I was young though, it almost went without saying that engineering was a male-dominated field and teaching or economics were considered more suitable fields for women. Certainly, that did not sit well with my stubbornness. With the constant support and encouragement from my parents to pursue engineering and technology (I even got a Commodore64, which was not a common thing for a six-year-old girl in the late eighties), there was never really an option for me to do something else.

It is all about the experience of helping others

I always knew Kuehne+Nagel as one of the largest logistics companies and a great place to work; hence, when in July 2020, the opportunity to join the company arose, I did not hesitate. At that time, I was already based in Qatar and looking to engage with an industry leader to utilize the theoretical knowledge of my master’s degree in logistics from the Vels Institute of Science, Technology, and Advanced Studies in Chennai, located some 750 km from my home town Bhatkal Karnataka in India.
