Our source of inspiration: Our people

My Kuehne+Nagel career has been all growth and development. Not just personally, but also my teams members whom I have seen embrace the opportunities of working in an environment that promotes exposure to the different aspects of warehousing. I especially enjoy and embrace Kuehne+Nagel's employee managed Care Program, which presents opportunities and highlights individual talents for potential growth. With days full of laughter, challenges, and supportive managers, I simply confirm this to be my best career move so far.

Our source of inspiration: Our people

My journey with Kuehne+Nagel started as a co-op student looking for a summer job in logistics. It is now almost ten years since that day and my experience has been very rewarding. I can assure you there is plenty of development opportunities and career paths to follow at Kuehne+Nagel. You have to own your career, leaders within the organization will support you along the way and the programs to develop talent are a very important tool to advance your professional development and network within Kuehne+Nagel. My experience with the Reginal Talent Program North America helped develop my leadership skills and provided me the opportunity to meet great people and leaders within the company also looking to build their careers and make a positive impact with Kuehne+Nagel.

Mike

Our source of inspiration: Our people

After I graduated from my MBA, I was looking for a career with an international feel. Kuehne+Nagel welcomed me even though I had no previous experience in freight forwarding and really took the time to teach me everything. I have been with the company now four years and hold a successful postion in Seafreight Sales out of the Montreal branch. I am passionate about sustainable living and Kuehne+Nagel gives me the opportunity to express this passion by leading the movement #BlueForGreen in Canada.

Throughout my twenty five year career with Kuehne+Nagel, I have had opportunities and challenges to grow myself and develop my teams. Today, I am excited to be leading Women in Logistics Leadership (WILL), while balancing my responsibilities for business development. WILL enables me to further build my network, enhance my skills, and use my talents to support, empower, and mentor my colleagues.

I started as an apprentice in Canada. The Apprentice Program allowed me to learn the business of Air Logistics, CFS, Sea Logistics, and Customs Brokerage. This knowledge combined with opportunies to learn from many of our amazing leaders set the path for my career. I cherish the many relationships that I have developed over the years with colleagues and leaders. They truly have become my Kuehne+Nagel family.
